Deep Dark Secret is a minor character in the 2024 animated film Inside Out 2, representing Riley's deepest, darkest secret. He appears as a large, dark and foreboding figure with glowing eyes, though his appearance belies a timid personality, reflective of the shame Riley feels at the secret he holds.
Deep Dark Secret is introduced to the other emotions by Bloofy, and later aids them in escaping the Vault, before deciding to remain inside. He is later visited by Joy, who encourages him out of the vault and into revealing the secret he holds, discovered to be about burning a hole in a rug. Joy exclaims in excitement, thinking it was instead about Riley peeing in the pool, causing Deep Dark Secret to become embarrassed and return to the Vault once again.

Nostalgia is a minor character in the 2024 animated film Inside Out 2, and is one of the new emotions that makes an appearance in Riley's mind, representing sentimental longing for the past. She takes the form of an elderly lady, with slightly wrinkled skin and curly white hair, and often reminisces on events that have just happened.
Nostalgia appears alongside the other new emotions in the Headquarters in Riley's mind, remarking on their arrival there as though it was a longtime memory despite them having just arrived. She is quickly reminded by Anxiety that it is still several years until she is needed, but is assured by the younger emotion that she will keep her informed on when she is needed. Nostalgia reappears later on in the film, reminiscing on the times Riley had spent with her friends, but is again told she is not needed and retires back downstairs.
