Missions are tasks that players need to complete in single player modes (such as Starter Circuit, Season Tour or Limited Events) and from a separate Missions menu in Golden Pass. All missions from Season Tour and the separate Missions menu provide EXP upon completion, and the EXP is used to increase the Golden Pass tier. Missions from Limited Events have separate rewards displayed next to each task.

Mission types
Missions can be relatively simple or quite grindy, and depending on the mission a different amount of EXP or rewards can be gained. All the missions in Season Tour have the same difficulty level and the same EXP reward.
Some missions can be repeated multiple times to obtain the rewards.

- Go along with Chapter Requirements
==Use X Skill(s)==
This requires pressing the Skill button to use one of the Skills that players pick up on the road while driving. The pick-ups are small colorful glowing Arbee faces that randomly grant the player one of the 4 Skills that their character can use.
To use Backwards skills or Charged skills, press the Backwards Skill button and hold the Skill button respectively.
Stay in the air for X second(s)
Blue Speed Springboards on Kaua'i Map
Trampolines
Blue Jump Pads in Floating Objects
This requires using either small blue springboards or white trampolines that push the kart up and forward, while located on high in the air, so the Racer can "fly" for a brief period of time. No special button is required, only driving on them and going up in the air but doing it frequently enough to stay flying for the necessary number of seconds.
Perform X aerial stunt(s)
Aerial stunts are the game mechanics that allows the player to flip their kart in the air. How do I perform an aerial stunt in Disney Speedstorm? In order to do aerial stunts, players need to use either small blue springboards or white trampolines that push the kart up and forward and then press the Jump button while in the air.
- Another way of staying in the air or performing aerial stunts is playing Floating Objects mode that works like an additional setting to races in all main singleplayer modes. Jumping on Jump Pads (blue circles with an arrow) and flying/performing stunts is the whole point of this mode, therefore players spend a lot of time in the air and have a lot of time for stunts.
Use Manual Boost for X second(s) / Use Manual Boost X time(s)
Manual Boost has been activated
Manual Boost is what players can activate when their blue Speed Boost Bar on the top of the screen fills up, and the game suggests to press Boost button to activate Manual Boost. If the seconds are the requirement, the duration matters. If the times are the requirement, the number of Boost button pressed is what matters.
Go through X SpeedPads
Driving on SpeedPads
SpeedPads are probably the most noticeable part of a racing track as players meet them everywhere along the way. Those blue circles on the ground with arrows on them are extremely powerful in terms of speeding players up. Driving onto them both pushes you forward right away and fills in your Speed Boost Bar (always if you are a Speedster and only while the nitro boost is active if you are any other class).
Drift for X meters / Drift for X seconds
Drifting mechanics GIF
Drifting is a driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing a loss of traction, yet skillfully maintains control to guide the vehicle throughout the entire curve. Players need to hold one of the movement buttons (left or right) and hold the drift button to perform a drift. The longer the player stays drifting, the more meters they drive and the more seconds.
Perform X Drift Boosts
When the kart is drifting, at some point the wheels start glowing. If the player releases the drift button, the kart gets pushed forward - that is called a Drift Boost. They can be performed at any spot on the road (even though preferably while going around the corner), and enabling Steering Assist in settings makes it easier to perform Drift Boosts.
Stun X rivals
Stunning makes rivals stop due to being attacked. Read more on the Stun article here -->
How to Stun someone:
- Skills (Common or Unique, wherever there is a description point that this Skill can Stun);
- Side Dash (only for Brawlers).
Stay on Slipstream for X seconds
Slipstream is a special game mechanics that means gaining extra speed due to following a vehicle right ahead. In Disney Speedstorm it means being NOT Top-1 and staying behind someone else for X number of seconds. It might be dangerous due to a lot of Skills getting thrown backwards but it assists in gaining extra nitro fuel to fill in Speed Boost Bar and use Manual Boost.
Slide on Grind Pipes for X seconds
Pipe is a blue rail on the side of the road. Gliding on it is what counts for this mission.
Dash into opponents X times
Dash, also referred to by players as Side bump or Bash or Side swipe or Tackle, is a game mechanics that allows a player to physically attack a nearby opponent by bumping their cars into one another. It can be done using a Dash button.
=Limited Events Missions =
Missions in Limited Events are largely the same as in Season Tour, however, completing them provides rewards instead of EXP, and they have different levels of difficulty:
- Newcomer (lvl 5/8/12)
- Apprentice (lvl 10/16)
- Advanced (lvl 15/22/24)
- Expert (lvl 20/32/35)
- Superstar (lvl 25/35/42)
=Missions Menu =
The Golden Pass has its own missions which rotate daily or weekly. Those missions vary in the amount of time players have to spend to complete them and the amount of EXP gained accordingly. Daily missions provide 250 EXP each, and 750 EXP can be earned a day. Longer missions can cost 650 EXP or 1400 EXP depending on the difficulty.
Most missions in the Missions menu are the same as in Season Tour, however, most of them are attached to a certain Racer / Collection / Class. Therefore there are a few additional types of missions:
- Win X races with a Racer from X Collection;
- Win X races with a Racer of X Class;
- Win X races with Racer X;
- Finish X races in a specific game mode (for example, Ranked MP).
