Boxes are item containers in Disney Speedstorm. They can be bought with different currencies from the Shop or obtained as a reward for different quests or events.

Boxes have fixed lists of contents for all players with a specific percentage of getting each material or Racer shard. There are various types of boxes:

1. Universal Box contains Racer shards and Crew shards that are necessary to unlock and upgrade Racers and Crew Members. Each of the Upgrade materials has its own drop rate and amount. The Shards are divided into Epic, Rare and Common. Universal Boxes can be purchased for Season Coins.
2. Mystery Box contains various materials needed to upgrade Racers. The contents of this box differ from Chapter to Chapter in Season Tour mode and include both generic materials and the ones needed for specific Racer Collections. The Upgrade materials are given as a reward for completing a special level.
3. Season Box contains Racer shards and Crew shards related to a specific Season Collection (in Closed Beta it was Mulan Collection). The Shards are divided into Epic, Rare and Common in accordance with their drop rate. Season Boxes can be purchased for Tokens and Seasonal Tickets. Starting from Season 6, each Seasonal Racer now has their own Season Box. Additionally, from the end of Feb 2024 the game offers Season Tour Support Boxes for those who do not have some of the older characters unlocked yet.
4. Multiplayer Box contains kart parts to customize Racers's cars. There are colors, kart parts and generic Upgrade materials on the list. Multiplayer Boxes can be purchased for MP Coins.
5. Daily Box contains free items (like Racer shards) and rotates daily.
6. Other boxes such as Star Box, Black Friday Box, Season Tour Support Box and so on. They are unique, more information can be found on their dedicated pages in Category:Boxes.
