Wheezy is a Crew Member in Disney Speedstorm. It is a Common Crew Member which means it amplifies two Racer statistics (Acceleration, Combat) and enhances one skill (Cloak). Wheezy is part of the Toy Story Collection.

Origin

Wheezy is a supporting character in Disney's 1999 animated feature film, "Toy Story 2". He is a squeaky penguin toy that is supposed to squeak when pressed.

In the interval between Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Wheezy becomes part of Andy's collection, likely a Christmas gift after the first film. He enjoyed a privileged place among Andy's favorites until an unfortunate incident - his squeaker broke. Andy's mother promised to fix it but didn't, so Wheezy was left abandoned on a shelf, where he coughed up dust and could not squeak due to his damaged voice.

When Woody gets his arm torn and is left on the same shelf. he meets Wheezy and tries to help him, however, it does not work. Wheezy tells Woody about the scary "yard sale" that is happening on that day and explains that if the toys are old and in a bad condition, they can be sold there, which means they will never see Andy again. When Wheezy gets taken to the yard, Woody, with the help of Andy's dog, Buster, saves Wheezy, but gets taken away instead.

At the end of the movie, when Woozy is back safe, Wheezy is shown to be part of the toy collection again with his voice fixed as he sings the "You've got a friend in me" to finish the movie on a positive note.

In "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" Wheezy makes a brief appearance in the film's opening sequence. After seeing the Buzz Lightyear VHS in Andy's room, Wheezy tells Buzz, "You should sign that tape. Someday, it could be worth something!" Rex, on the other hand, says he will sign in later and begs to watch the movie. Later in the TV series, Wheezy makes a quiet appearance in the animation series' intros, when he is imprisoned in a burning box house.
