It is an Epic Crew Member which means it gives Bonus % to all Racer statistics (depending on the Crew Member star level), allows the player to start the race with 1 skill and amplifies the unique skill while used (Fire, Genie Magic). Magic Carpet is part of the Aladdin Collection.

Origin

Magic Carpet is a supporting character in Disney's 1992 animated film "Aladdin". Carpet's introduction to Aladdin and Abu occurs deep within the Cave of Wonders, where they are looking for the Genie's lamp. Initially, Carpet playfully teases the apprehensive Abu, prompting Aladdin to intervene and showcase Carpet's wondrous qualities. While Abu is initially distrustful, Aladdin's reassuring words convince him to accept Carpet's presence.

With Carpet leading the way, the trio navigates the labyrinthine caves, hinting that Aladdin might never reach the lamp without Carpet's guidance. As Aladdin retrieves the lamp, Carpet realizes Abu's intent to steal a coveted treasure — a colossal ruby held by an ape-like idol. Carpet tries to stop Abu but fails, which triggers the cave's collapse.

In a dangerous moment, Carpet saves Aladdin from the brink of the lava pit, then assists Abu to safety. When a massive boulder pins Carpet, he perseveres and frees himself in time to rescue Aladdin and Abu from Jafar's treacherous act.

Upon Aladdin's first use of the Genie's power, Carpet shows familiarity with the Genie, implying a prior acquaintance, and they exchange fist bumps.

Following Aladdin's wish to become a prince, Carpet becomes an integral part of their journey, often seen beneath Aladdin atop Abu, assisting in their endeavors and impressing the Sultan. Carpet takes Aladdin and Jasmine on a magical carpet ride during "A Whole New World" and even picks up a flower for Aladdin to offer Jasmine.

During a moment of despair, Aladdin shouts at Carpet and Abu, leading both to depart in disappointment. Aladdin soon realizes his mistake and seeks to rectify it, but this leaves an opening for Iago to steal the lamp.

In a crucial rescue mission, Carpet flies into the tower where Aladdin and Abu are imprisoned by Jafar and aids in their escape to confront Jafar and save Jasmine. In the climactic battle, Jafar unravels Carpet into a single thread, but Carpet is restored when Jafar is trapped within his own lamp, thanks to Aladdin's cunning trickery.
