LeFou is a Crew Member in Disney Speedstorm. It is an Epic Crew Member which means it gives Bonus % to all Racer statistics (depending on the Crew Member star level), allows the player to start the race with 1 skill and amplifies the unique skill while used (Shield, Trophy Hunting). LeFou is part of the Beauty and the Beast Collection.

Origin

LeFou is a supporting character and a secondary antagonist of Disney's 1991 animated feature film "Beauty and the Beast". His name which translates from French as "the fool", and he is a blind supporter of Gaston who does everything his friend tells him to, while also often appearing in comical situations due to being unlucky and clumsy.

LeFou first appears in the film's opening musical number. He plays a supporting role to Gaston, attempting to retrieve a waterfowl that Gaston has shot down on their hunting expedition. LeFou admires Gaston's marksmanship, hailing him as the world's finest hunter and a heartthrob among the village women.

However, LeFou is taken aback when Gaston reveals his intention to marry Belle, the village's most beautiful woman. LeFou appears concerned for Gaston, trying to caution him about Belle's suitability, but he is swiftly cut off. During Gaston's failed marriage proposal to Belle, LeFou orchestrates a makeshift musical ensemble. His performance is cut short when Gaston slams a trumpet into his head in frustration. Post-rejection, LeFou inquires about the proposal's outcome, which prompts Gaston to throw him into the mud. They all later gather at the local tavern, celebrating Gaston with a song lauding his virtues. LeFou is the sole villager aware of Gaston's plan to commit Maurice to an asylum, forcing Belle into marriage.

In Gaston's scheme to blackmail Belle into marriage with the help of Monsieur D'Arque, LeFou is left outside Belle's Cottage as a lookout. Annoyed by Gaston's disregard, LeFou vents by hitting the house, triggering an avalanche that buries him further in the snow. When Belle and Maurice return, LeFou poorly disguises himself as a snowman and rushes to inform Gaston and D'Arque. They arrive with a mob, and LeFou persuades the crowd that Maurice is insane, but Belle's use of the Enchanted Mirror exposes the truth.

In a fit of jealousy, Gaston rallies the crowd to attack the Beast's Castle, with LeFou at his side. Inside the castle, LeFou wields a torch, inadvertently endangering Lumiere. Cogsworth saves Lumiere, leading to a humorous incident involving LeFou and a pair of scissors. Later, LeFou joins a chase to the kitchen but flees when Chef Bouche's fiery display frightens the mob away. Whether LeFou ever learns of Gaston's fate in the battle against the Beast is left unanswered, though it is likely that Gaston's absence conveys the message clearly.
