Origin

The UGF Troopers, also known as the Intergalactic Police or Prison Guards, are alien Velociraptor-like characters in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. Initially minor antagonists, they later become anti-heroes. They form the backbone of the United Galactic Federation and serve as guards for spacecraft captains and those under arrest or in prison. The guards belong to a species called Raptorsellus and are known for their temperamental nature, especially in confrontations or battles.

In the original movie, Experiment 626, later known as Stitch, is handed over to the Intergalactic Police for custody. They use advanced technology to track his genetic signature and prevent his escape, but Stitch outsmarts them and breaks free. Although they surround him after recapturing him, he is ultimately released.

In "Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch", a flashback shows the guards apprehending Jumba, who created Stitch, for illegal experiment creation, interrupting a critical process.

Throughout the "Lilo & Stitch" series, the Intergalactic Police are seen chasing and apprehending various characters, including Dr. Hämsterviel and the escaped experiments. They play both antagonistic and helpful roles in different episodes.

In "Leroy & Stitch", the Intergalactic Police allow Stitch entry to meet the Grand Councilwoman, wearing special uniforms for the occasion.

The Intergalactic Police remain significant in the "Lilo & Stitch" universe, playing diverse roles as law enforcers and guards, sometimes aiding the protagonists in their endeavors.
