Critters are a Crew Member in Disney Speedstorm. It is an Epic Crew Member which means it gives Bonus % to all Racer statistics (depending on the Crew Member star level), allows the player to start the race with 1 skill and amplifies the unique skill while used (Bomb, Yodelin' Cowgirl). Critters are part of the Toy Story Collection.

Origin

The Critters are a group of animals that played a major role in the hit 50's TV Show "Woody's Roundup". In the show, they were friends of Jessie's that resided in the desert the show takes place in.

In the episode shown in the movie, Jessie and the Prospector find themselves trapped in a mine with a lit barrel of dynamite. Jessie calls the animals with her yodeling and asks them inform Woody about the situation they're in. The animals find Woody and Bullseye painting the old schoolhouse and tell them about Jessie and the Prospector, and Woody can comedically make out the situation from a couple of animal noises.

The Critters were born from the creative mind of a young artist named Lily. Inspired by her love for animals, she sculpted and painted each Critter with care and attention to detail. Each one had a unique personality and appearance, making them a great addition to Andy's toy collection.

Animals that make up the Critters are a bear, a bluebird, a buck deer, a turtle, a porcupine, a rattlesnake, a bobcat, a vulture, a doe deer, a beaver, and a squirrel. In the Crew Member's icon there are only the doe on a yellow background, the turtle on a green background, and the beaver on a red background.

The Critters brought joy and wonder to every playtime session. Their lively antics and imaginative adventures enchanted both children and toys alike. With their agile movements and ability to interact with the environment, they seemed to possess a touch of magic.
