Origin

Bullseye, the beloved toy horse, is a supporting character in the Toy Story franchise starting from Toy Story 2 (1999). Despite being a steed that appeared in a cowboy-style TV show in the 50s, he has a very puppy-like personality, as he is really attached to Woody, Jessie and others.

During a mishap at the toy factory, Bullseye ended up with a defective voice box, which is why he could not speak and could only neigh. Considered flawed, Bullseye was deemed unfit for the market and set aside.

But fate had other plans for Bullseye. In Toy Story 2, he was a toy horse that was part of Al's Roundup collection, a bunch of toys that Al was planning to sell to in a toy museum in Japan. When Woody appeared in Al's Penthouse, Bullseye was one of the first friends he met. Bullseye had been in storage for a while, so he was extremely happy to see that Woody was joining the crew.

Even though Woody was not totally on board with the museum plan at first, Bullseye did not hold a grudge. In fact, when Woody's arm got separated, Bullseye eagerly helped him get it back.

Bullseye does not like conflicts: for instance, he hid in a can when Jessie was on the brink of leaping at Woody due to a misunderstanding with a TV incident.

Later, Bullseye, much like Jessie, showed disappointment when Woody mentioned his intention to leave after his arm was fixed. When Woody decided to leave anyway, Bullseye got heartbroken, but after Woody changed his mind, having heard about Jessie's sad past, the horse's sadness transformed into joy and delight.

As the toys faced various challenges and adventures, Bullseye's agility and speed proved invaluable, especially when it came to saving Jessie who had been accidentally sent to a plane in a suitcase that she could not get out of by herself. He ran as fast as he could, galloped and leaped with grace whenever he was needed, always ready to lend a hoof in times of need.

While Bullseye may not have had a voice in the traditional sense, his actions and unwavering loyalty spoke louder than words.
