ISO is a Crew Member in Disney Speedstorm. It is an Epic Crew Member which means it gives Bonus % to all Racer statistics (depending on the Crew Member star level), allows the player to start the race with 1 skill and amplifies the unique skill while used (Rush, Light Runner). ISO is part of TRON Collection.

Origin

Isomorphic Algorithms, commonly referred to as ISOs, were a unique class of programs that emerged spontaneously within the Grid, rather than being deliberately created by users. Kevin Flynn saw their existence as nothing short of miraculous, whereas CLU viewed them as obstacles to his vision of a flawless system.

Unlike Basic programs, ISOs did not stand apart due to their appearance or abilities but because of the distinct nature of their code. Unlike traditional programs, which have strict functions, protocols, and predefined purposes, ISOs were not bound by such constraints. Their self-evolving nature gave rise to an advanced code structure that even Kevin Flynn struggled to fully grasp. This intricate foundation suggested that ISOs had the potential to surpass the limitations of conventional programs.

At some point in time, CLU 2 delivered a rallying speech to his newly repurposed army in Tron City, rallying them for battle against the ISOs. His directive was clear: annihilate every last one in pursuit of his vision of perfection. What followed was an unprecedented assault—the ISOs were relentlessly hunted, their homes burned, and their communities destroyed. Regardless of where they sought refuge, CLU's forces tracked them down. This brutal campaign was later known as The Purge.

By the end of the Purge, nearly every ISO had been eradicated. The only survival of this purge happened to be Quorra, who was rescued by Kevin Flynn and trained to be a warrior. After leaving the portal with Sam Flynn, she was even able to live among Users, seemingly becoming one of them.
