Trickster — speedstorm

Trickster is one of the Classes in Disney Speedstorm. It defines the playstyle of characters that belong in this class, including their Stats Bonus, Dash Bonus, Manual Boost Bonus and a Common Skill set.

Stats Bonus

There are general stats bonuses that each Racer class has an advantage in. The Trickster class has an upper hand in Boost which means the Speed Boost of the Racer lasts longer. Crew Members have the ability to affect all stats, so it is possible to upgrade this featured statistics even further.

Each statistics gets upgraded once every 5 levels on rotation. The rotation sequence is different for each class and starts from level 2, so the following stats get upgraded:

Dash Bonus

Dashing is a game mechanics available to all characters at any point during a race. Pressing a dash button a Racer can purposely bump into their rivals to disrupt them and take advantage of the situation. Each class has a different effect from such bumping, and the Trickster class's unique effect is gaining a random level 1 Common Skill. It does not affect the Racer that has been hit.

History

Before the end of Season 5 of Free-to-Play, the Dashing effect used to be confusing rivals after hitting them, applying the Hack skill to them.

Manual Boost Bonus

Manual Boost can be enabled by pressing the boost button after the boost bar at the top of the screen has been filled with nitro fuel. There are different options for getting nitro fuel, however, the Trickster class can gain it by Drifting. Long drifts usually give a push forward but for the Trickster class they also give a big amount of nitro fuel.

Skill Focus

Since Tricksters are all about disrupting opponents, the skills they are able to pick up on the road always include one that helps with sneak attacks: either Hack or Bomb, depending on a specific Racer. Hack obscures the vision and mirrors the controls of a car making a player to turn into the opposite direction of the button they press. Bomb leaves explosives on the road that blow up when a rival drives onto them and stun them.
